This is my first time ever really trying martial arts of any kind. I started because I was looking for my son to do to help him gain discipline, balance, respect, and coordination, (not to mention the ability to protect himself if it ever came to that.) I tried one highly touted place, but I just didn’t feel like they were pushing him to do the moves properly. He was getting away with being lazy. So I took him out of that school and into Highland Taekwondo Academy, and it was one of the best decisions I could have made for my son and myself.
Master Roberto Arana has been everything I wanted in an instructor for myself, but what was an added benefit was the ability to take the class with my son at the same time. I am just now getting around to getting my yellow belt, but I’ve been having so much fun, and Master Arana always manages to kick my butt and push me harder than anyone. I always leave class feeling great about myself.
Come join us this summer starting next Monday at 4:30PM. (don’t worry if you can’t make this time, he has another class at 5:30PM so make it to that one, I’ll still be there) and try it out for just one class, If you like it, you can sign up for a whole month, or I’m sure he’ll work out a summer deal for you.
The link to the school is above, however here are some quick things:
